Specialist Global Liquid Transportation
ITAS supports Australian and New Zealand exporters with the international movement of bulk and packaged liquids. Our approach starts with the cargo. We consider the product, volume, destination, handling requirements and operational requirements before identifying an appropriate transport solution.

- 04Destination Coordination
The Right Equipment Starts with the Liquid.
Before recommending a logistics solution, ITAS considers cargo characteristics, volume, handling needs, destination, compatibility, loading and discharge arrangements, and relevant operational or regulatory requirements.
From there, we identify the most practical and appropriate transport method.
Liquid Transport Solutions
Right cargo. Right equipment. Right movement.
ISO-Tanks
For suitable bulk liquid cargoes requiring dedicated tank equipment, specialist handling and controlled international movement.
Flexitanks
A practical bulk liquid option for suitable non-hazardous cargoes where the product, volume, route and loading and discharge arrangements support their use.
IBCs
Flexible transport solutions for smaller liquid volumes, specialised cargo requirements or movements where bulk tank equipment is not appropriate.
Drums & Packaged Liquids
International transport coordination for liquid cargoes moving in drums and other appropriate packaged formats.
Liquid Cargo Expertise
Our expertise is built around liquid cargoes and their transportation, not simply around providing equipment.
Food & Beverage Liquids
- Edible oils & food ingredients
- Agricultural & feed products
- Agro-industrial liquids & by-products
Industrial & Chemical Liquids
- Suitable chemical liquids
More Than Equipment
Selecting appropriate packaging is only one part of the movement.
ITAS coordinates the international transport process, working with shippers, equipment providers, transport operators, shipping lines and destination partners to manage the movement from origin through to destination.
Where Cargo Meets Equipment
Our involvement in the local management of ISO-Tank equipment provides ITAS with visibility of suitable equipment positioned throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Where cargo and equipment requirements align, this may create opportunities to match suitable export liquid cargoes with ISO-Tanks already available within the region. Where an ISO-Tank is not the appropriate solution, we can consider alternative transport methods including Flexitanks, IBCs and drums.
The objective is not to force cargo into a particular equipment type. It is to identify a practical and appropriate liquid transportation solution.
